Your faithfulness, my refuge in the night

In church we sing so many of these songs. And it’s easy to glaze over them. However when you’re in the warfare, when you’re feeling far from God, these words really popout.

This was true for me. I would be heavily involved the worship and would play with the band, but only recently these songs came to life. During one of the darkest times of being separated from my wife, I was really doubting God. I was overthinking, worrying and anxious. She was so hurt I couldn’t even confess. And I literally spent a whole weekend stressing about this situation. But then I heard the words “your faithfulness, my refuge in the night.”

You can buy the song on Amazon from the album Prayers of the Saints. It’s really worth it. 99p – sorted.
